QCVS<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Queen’s Commendation for Valuable Service<\/strong> (or King’s Commendation for Valuable Service<\/strong>) is a British military award that recognises meritorious service during, or in support of, operations. Commercial pilots have also been awarded it due to their extraordinary flying during extreme conditions. It was given to the co-pilot and to a flight attendant of British Airways Flight 5390.<\/p>\n
